Energizing Morning Breakfast Bowl
They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and we have got the perfect recipe to kickstart your mornings with a burst of energy. This nutrient-packed breakfast bowl combines wholesome ingredients to give you the fuel you need for a productive day ahead.
Ingredients:
• 1 cup of cooked quinoa or steel-cut oats
• 1/2 cup of plain Greek yogurt
• 1 Tablespoon of chia seeds
• 1/2 cup of mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries)
• 1 medium banana, sliced
• 1 Tablespoon of chopped almonds
• 1 Tablespoon of granola
Directions:
1. Cook quinoa or steel-cut oats according to package directions and allow to cool slightly.
2. In a bowl, combine the Greek yogurt and chia seeds. Mix well until the chia seeds are evenly distributed.
3. Start building your own by placing the cooked quinoa or oats at the bottom. Top it with the Greek yogurt and chia seed mixture before layering on the mixed berries and sliced banana.
